As a graduate from the one of the most reputable high schools in Turkey, I knew I needed to receive a Bachelor’s degree from one of the top college programs in order to continue my successful academic career. I choose to attend the dual diploma program in economics between Istanbul Technical University and SUNY New Paltz. Due to my strong academic performance demonstrated by receiving merit scholarships and graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors, I had no difficulties in finding my dream job with one of the world’s top companies. I am currently advancing in a successful career in the Los Angeles office of Ernst and Young (EY) and am thankful for the dual degree program education I received. I believe this program enabled me to obtain a position with this prestigious company and furthermore allowed me to advance and work in the US branch due to my bicultural educational experience.
