Halil Cumhur Sarıca, Business Administration, SUNY New Paltz-ITU'2025
I graduated from the ITU-SUNY Business Administration Dual Diploma Program in 2025. During the challenging university selection period, I discovered this program through a university fair I attended in Istanbul. The idea of studying at a prestigious institution like ITU and then continuing my education in the United States felt like an exciting adventure.
My preparatory year at ITU was one of the best years of my life. Experiencing campus life was incredible, and knowing that I would embark on a journey to America with the friends I made there made it even more special. This journey turned out to be even more rewarding than I had imagined.
When we began our studies in the U.S., we were greeted by a completely different lifestyle. It made me very happy to realize how much I grew during the process of adapting to this new environment.
After starting my education in Uşak and continuing through my senior year of high school, exploring a major city like Istanbul and then a country like the United States was truly amazing.
Now, as a recent graduate, I am currently in the OPT process, and the adventure continues from where it left off. I am deeply grateful to my family for their unwavering support every step of the way. I wish everyone going through the university selection process the best of luck and much success.
