The experience I had at SUNY Cortland was one of the best of my life. I strongly believe that this experience made me a different person. The opportunity of attending universities in two different cultures offered me a larger point of view. At times, especially at the beginning, I had some difficulty in adaptation but this experience taught me how to adapt to a new environment when I have to. I live in İstanbul now, however I believe I can live anywhere in the world with a minimum level of difficulty. After your SUNY experience, you become more brave when making decisions about life. In terms of education, the academics helped me become even moresuccessful. Other than the major courses, many optional courses are offered as well. I had the opportunity to improve myself with the help of optional courses such as cinema, art history, music, and pyschology. All in all, I wish I could have the chance of going back in time and experiencing SUNY once again. Go Red Dragons!
