I am one of the alumni of dual diploma program between ITU and Binghamton University in 2022.
I have felt the benefit of fields of the Information Systems Engineering/Computer Science during my education and I still feel the benefits as I begin my career after graduation.
At the point where the world has come, the importance of technology and software development is obvious. In this sense, the work share of our field has increased compared to other sectors, and I can say that this creates need for many software developers in the field. During university preference period, I evaluated the opportunity of qualified and visionary education that we could receive from both schools and realized that this program was the only one in its field, that is why I chose this program. The diplomas we receive from both schools are of great importance both in Turkey and in the United States. The fact that we live our lives in two different countries during our college years significantly improves our adaptability and personal skills. Thanks to this program, I can say that I had the opportunity to prepare myself strongly for the next stages in life during my university education.
I was accepted to Amazon Web Services in the US after my graduation, and I am currently working on Cloud Services. Wherever my next steps are, I'm excited about it.
