Coming from a family of mariners, I decided to study a program related to maritime during my senior year. When I found this program,which is run by ITU & SUNY Maritime College, I applied with no hesitation. I was particularly drawn to the global opportunities that exist with this program.
Graduating from a department related to maritime offers many work opportunities. More importantly, it gave me the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree at SUNY Maritime College as well.
I would recommend a dual diploma program for every student. I am certain that spending two years in the United States at one of the best maritime colleges in the world provides very special experiences and teachs very valuable things. It was also a good opportunity to make friends from different countires and cultures.
My brother followed my path and chose the same program because of the experience I had. As someone who took the advantage of everything this program provided, I highly recommend it to every student who is interested in a maritime career.
