Thanks to SUNY dual diploma programs, it is possible to meet new people and experience many things such as their culture, taste of music, cuisine and their points of view. It is a great advantage to receive two diplomas in four years as well. I recommend staying at the dorms on campus in your first year so that you can increase your chances to socialize with the American students and other international students. You also have the opportunity to travel to a lot of cities in the States during the summer time. I also suggest doing research about what you can do in your free time as activities instead of staying in your home or in the dorms. If you keep yourself socializing, you won’t have any trouble making friends. Academically, doing research, projects and teamwork are considered highly important. You have the right to do OPT (Optional Practical Training) and work in the United States after your graduation. You also have the opportunity to continue working on a masters degree at your university. You will have the privilege of living and studying in Turkey and in the United States with the help of this program.
