Ceren Dilara Ekim, Business Administration, SUNY New Paltz-ITU'2024
I am a 2024 graduate of the ITU/SUNY New Paltz Business program.
I entered the program with a 50% scholarship and graduated as the second in my department. During the American portion of my education, I completed a double major in Business and Business Analytics and graduated with three bachelor's degrees in four years. Before even graduating, I received job offers from many different companies, including some in the United States. Since I wanted to start my career in the finance and consulting sector, I began working at PwC's Istanbul office as a Valuation Associate.
The double diploma program not only opened many career doors for me but also allowed me the opportunity to observe America, the heart of the business world, and live alone in another culture and country. It enabled me to make many lasting friendships with people from various countries around the world and gave me the chance to step out of my comfort zone and see how new experiences positively impact character development.
