After graduating from Kadıköy Anatolian High School in 2007, one of the most successful and established Anatolian high schools in Turkey, I was aware how important it was to decide where to study for my future,and I believed that the ITU-SUNY dual diploma program of Economics would be the right decision in terms of providing international opportunities both in Turkey and in the USA. From where I stand now, with the professional opportunities I have, it is easy to see that I made the right choice of university. For over 5 years, I have worked as a finance specialist in the aviation financing department atTurkish Airlines A.O. which is one of the leading companies of the aviation industry in the world and is the flagshipcompany of our country. I believe I was able to get this position at Turkish Airlines with the help of my strong English communication skills that I gained both in my high school and at ITU which is one of the most established and successful universities in Turkey. In addition to this, the international experience, vision and knowledge accumulated through continuing my undergraduate education at the State University of New York helped me to be successful in my career.
