Hello friends! I did not have any idea how my life would change when I chose to study at the department of Information Systems. I realized what I gained from this department in real life, when I graduated and began to work. Whatever you study, by having education in the USA and spending two years there, you take not just one step but ten steps forward among your coequals. Experiencing the culture and lifestyle in the USA, which is not even remotely close to Turkey, gives you a different point of view, and makes you acquire a vision. After your graduation, you will receive a recompense for what you experience during those years which makes you hold on tight to life.
The greatest contribution of this program is OPT (Optional Practical Training) for up to 3 years for engineers. I said goodbye to my family at my graduation in Binghamton and moved to Los Angeles. Now, I am working as a software developer at a company.
