    Ankara University - University at Buffalo Biomedical Engineering Dual Diploma Program

    This program is run by Ankara University and the University at Buffalo (UB). It has been admitting students since 2026. Students will complete the first and the second year at Ankara University and the third and the fourth year at UB. Upon successful completion of the program, students receive a diploma from both Ankara University and UB.

    The period of study is 4 years and the medium of the program is English.

    All students admitted to the program must achieve the required English language proficiency score in one of the following internationally recognized examinations accepted by both Ankara University and UB:

    a. A score of 4 (four) or higher on the Internet-Based Test (iBT) TOEFL administered by ETS, based on the 1–6 scale;

    b. A score of 55 (fifty-five) or higher on the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic), provided that no individual section score is below 50 (fifty);

    c. Students who do not meet these English language proficiency requirements must attend the Ankara University School of Foreign Languages for one full academic year.

    The payment is to be made in TL currency while studying at Ankara University and in US Dollar while studying at the University at Buffalo. Registered students take courses at the Ankara University campuses and take SUNY courses at the University at Buffalo (Buffalo, NY, USA).

    The Students who complete their program successfully at these recognized universities will have the right to work legally in their field of study for a certain period in the United States via Optional Practical Training (OPT).
