University Education provides an opportunity to almost every student to find and improve themselves. However, becoming a part of SUNY means a lot more than that. From now on, I can consider myself as two different people; me before SUNY Cortland and me after SUNY Cortland. With all my heart and soul, the SUNY Cortland part of my life was a milestone for me.
There were things that completely changed my whole point of view and brought me to maturity. Things like the courses related to my major and liberal education courses related to many other different fields, making many American friends and friends from different nations from all over the world, and the responsibility of standing on my own two feet in another corner of the world all by myself. I feel like I become an adult there.
Furthermore, in addition to the privileges of completing an education at an American University, I am very proud of having graduated with a dual diploma. Even if it is challenging to pay the fees and to meet the requirements for language and academic average at first, when you gain the experience, you realize that it’s really worth every minute and every penny. Thus, you remember it as a period which contained the best moments of your life.
My recommendation for prospective students would be not to give up meeting requirements and when it is time to go abroad, make the best of activities and the courses by using all the facilities on campus. I can’t help saying that all the coordinators and professors in the USA are all ready to help you. All you need is to communicate with them. They will show sympathy. When you come back to your country, you will miss the memories and the people who touched your life.
