Istanbul Beykent University - SUNY Cortland
This program is run by Istanbul Beykent University (IBU) University and Cortland University. It has been admitting students since 2024. Students will complete their first and second years of education at Istanbul Beykent University, and the third and fourth years at Cortland University. Upon successful completion of the program, students receive a diploma from both IBU and Cortland University.
The period of study is 4 years and the medium of the program is English. To be admitted to the program, students must receive a minimum TOEFL score of 72 IBT. Those who cannot achieve proficiency in the language are to attend a preparatory program in English at IBU. Students are allowed up to 2 years to complete the preparatory program.
The payment is to be made in TL currency while studying at IBU and in US Dollar while studying at Cortland University. Registered students take IBU courses at the IBU campus (Istanbul) and take SUNY courses at Cortland University.
The Students who complete their program successfully at these recognized universities will have the right to work legally in their field of study for a certain period in the United States via Optional Practical Training (OPT).
