Ayşe Zeynep Koltuk,TEFL, SUNY New Paltz-METU’2026
I am Ayşe Zeynep Koltuk, a graduate of the Middle East Technical University (METU) – SUNY New Paltz English Language Teaching Dual Diploma Program.
Throughout my academic journey, the different experiences I gained at METU and SUNY New Paltz provided me with a unique perspective. Studying in the United States was very valuable for me both academically and personally. During this process, I had the opportunity to live in a different country, meet new cultures, and be part of an international educational environment. The dual diploma program gave me the opportunity to experience a different education system, develop myself, and see what I am capable of achieving.
“Live Theatre Experience” was my favorite course. Going to Broadway musicals and experiencing this fascinating atmosphere in person, and writing essays about the shows I watched, was both an educational and enjoyable process for me. ‘’Psychology’’ and ‘’Media’’ courses were also very beneficial.
In New Paltz, I made very valuable friendships, had a lot of fun, and experienced unforgettable moments that I will remember for the rest of my life.
Especially studying at two prestigious and well-established universities such as METU and New Paltz, I strongly recommend this program to anyone who wants to improve themselves in an international environment.
