Latest Announcement on Visa Appointments

The U.S. Embassy in Ankara and U.S. Consulate General in Istanbul are pleased to announce the transition to a new visa appointment system on May 30, 2025.

Through the new service, visa applicants and customers will be able to apply for a U.S. visa, pay any required visa fee, schedule a visa interview appointment, and receive document delivery services. All visa appointments scheduled before May 19, 2025, remain valid.

If you are a visa applicant and paid your nonimmigrant visa application fee before May 19, 2025, follow the steps below to create an account in the new visa system using your existing visa application record.

Go to https://www.ustraveldocs.com/, select your country in the desired language, select “Nonimmigrant Visa” or “Immigrant visa” (depending on your application type)

then click on the green button “Visa Login”.

To claim your existing visa application record, you will need to validate the Date of Birth and Passport Number used in the visa application, register a unique email address (it can be the same one used on the previous system if this email address was used only on one account, if not, you will be required to provide a new unique one) and click the “Claim” button.
If the Date of Birth and Passport Number does not match any existing active record an error message will be displayed. If you consider this to be a system error, please contact our visa service desk at: https://ustraveldocs.com/tr/en/contact-us.
Once you have successfully claimed your existing visa application, please click on “Sign up now” to complete your registration form using the unique email address provided on the previous step.
Once the account has been created, log in clicking on the “Sign In” and follow the

application steps.
