Upcoming Changes to Visa Appointment Scheduling and Visa Information Services
    April 14, 2025

The U.S. Embassy in Turkey will begin using a new visa appointment system provided by a new visa service provider starting May 30, 2025.
Through this new service, visa applicants will be able to access visa information, pay the visa application fee, schedule their visa interviews, and use courier services for document submission.

Please note that all nonimmigrant and immigrant visa interview appointments scheduled before May 19, 2025, will remain valid after the launch of the new appointment system. Applicants may attend their interviews on the originally scheduled date and time.

    Special Instructions:

    • If you already have an appointment: No further action is required; simply attend your appointment at the scheduled date and time.
    • If you have paid the visa application fee but have not yet scheduled your interview: We recommend that you schedule your appointment using the current system (https://ais.usvisa-info.com/) before May 19, 2025, when access to the system will be closed.
    • If you are planning to apply for a visa but have not yet started the application process: We recommend that you pay the visa fee and schedule your appointment as soon as possible. Please note that the current appointment system will no longer accept new fee payments in cash after May 15, 2025, and by credit card after May 18, 2025.
    • If you have already started the visa application process and have been instructed to mail your documents to the Consular Section: Please submit the required documents to the authorized courier location as soon as possible, as these locations will stop accepting documents after May 24, 2025.

Important Note: From May 19 to May 29, applicants will not have access to the appointment system. During this time, applicants will not be able to generate payment receipts for new visa fees, schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments, or request emergency appointments.
