    Visa Application Process

    Students accepted into the dual diploma programs are responsible for meeting the requirements for and obtaining a non-immigrant student visa required to continue the program in the United States.

    Students are assisted by their Turkish and American coordinators during this process.  In addition, the SUNY Turkey Office plays an active role in assisting students with their visa applications.

    The SUNY Turkey Office:

    • Regularly communicates with officials in the U.S. Embassy in Ankara and Consulate in Istanbul to provide updated information about the dual diploma programs and receive information about changes in the visa process so that students are well-prepared for interviews

    • Assists students with visa application difficulties
